POLICY STATEMENT ON HARASSMENT
INTRODUCTION
It is a fundamental commitment of any company to treat all employees with respect and dignity, and to provide an environment free of intimidation and harassment. All employees should always have a right to work in an environment free from all forms of discrimination and conduct which can be considered harassing, coercive, or disruptive.
Further to this South African legislation regulates grounds for discrimination and it is imperative that companies institute control mechanisms on matters such as harassment or discrimination based on race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, disability or any other characteristics protected by law. This policy statement does just that.

- has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment;
- has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s work performance; or
- otherwise adversely affects an individual’s employment.
