ASSISTANCE WITH USING AVAILABLE EVIDENCE
INTRODUCTION
The literature on change management is large and growing. Moreover, we recognise that managers will rarely be seeking to find out about a change management model just because it falls within a particular school of thought. Many will be looking for an approach that may be useful in a particular situation, for example, at a given stage of the change process, when intervening with a particular individual or group. What is needed above all in such situations is an expert resource which managers and professionals may consult. Many organisations have the basis of such a resource in an Organisational Development (OD) department. Other sources of expertise will be found in Human Resource (HR) departments. If you cannot locate them in your own organisation, independent consultants also offer expertise in this area.
