LETTER TO A TRADE UNION IN RESPONSE TO A REQUEST FOR ORGANISATIONAL RIGHTS
INTRODUCTION
In terms of the Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995 any Union needs to comply withcertain aspects before organisational rights can be considered within a workplace. In Section 11 of the Labour Relations Act, 66 of 1995, a representative trade union means a registered trade union that is sufficiently representative of the workplace. This sample letter is a response addressed to the Trade Union seeking organisational rights and requesting the relevant information.
